Dr. Danielle Yeager, OTD, OTR/L
Dr. Danielle is the founder of Dr. Danielle’s Developmental Services. She graduated from the University of Kansas Medical Center with her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Occupational Therapy. She has been working in the field for over 7 years and is dedicated to supporting families with or without disabilities to feel confident about helping their child’s development.
In addition to her training in Occupational Therapy, Danielle received specialized training the Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the Center for Child Health and Development at KUMC. During her time there she increased her study in the area of autism and was a part of autism diagnostic teams.
Meghan Burns
Meghan Burns is an enthusiastic Special Education Teacher. She graduated from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary and Special Education. She has five years of experience in working with individuals with exceptionalities, including in-home care, clinical facilities and in the public school setting.
She strives to provide the best care possible to help each individual reach their goals, and wants to make sure that she’s in harmonized communication with the families for the best interest of their child.
Joyce Shontz, CCC-SLP
Joyce Shontz is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, graduating from Indiana University with her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders more than 20 years ago. Joyce’s passion as an SLP is to empower individuals (of all ages) to successfully communicate with others and to become their own best advocate. Joyce has most recently been working with school-aged children and has received Orton Gillingham Certification. Prior to this, Joyce provided services to infants, toddlers and their families and was dedicated to partnering with parents to facilitate their child’s communication skills and overall development.
