How are services paid for?
Dr. Danielle’s Developmental Services are private pay services. This means you are invoiced for the sessions directly. You will be provided with codes on your invoice so you can seek out-of-network reimbursement if you choose. We are happy to assist with any additional information you may need for reimbursement, such as treatment notes.
If I want to seek reimbursement from my insurance what should I ask them?
Ask your insurance company if you need any pre-authorization for services, how many sessions you are allowed annually, what your deductible is, and where to send out-of-network claims.
Do you accept private insurance or Medicaid?
At this time all services are private pay. However, you can seek out-of-network reimbursement on your own. We are happy to assist with providing billing codes and treatment notes.
What does the process look like?
After filling out the intake forms Dr. Danielle will discuss with you what your families needs and desires are. Then she will set up a meeting with you to complete an initial evaluation and discuss goals, treatment options, and types of services you are interested in. Service options include occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and education. Dr. Danielle will set up a plan with you for your family’s goals and coordinate the services.
What does a typical session look like?
A service provider will come to your home for an hour to deliver their treatment to you and your child. Treatments are individualized to meet the needs of your family. We utilize the coaching model to ensure you understand techniques and strategies to use between sessions. It is expected that a caregiver is in the home throughout the session. It is always welcome for the caregiver to be present throughout the whole session. If the child is between the age of birth and 3 years old the caregiver is expected to be present during the entire session for maximum results. Therapy sessions often look like playing!
What age range do you serve?
Dr. Danielle’s Developmental Services is a pediatric service, therefore we serve children from birth through 17 and their families.
Who are these services for?
Dr. Danielle’s Developmental Services are for any child and their family who has questions, concerns, or generally wants support with their child’s development. This could look like just wanting to make sure your child is on track and wanting to know the next steps, a delay in walking, handwriting support, speech concerns, in-home tutoring to stay ahead in school, sensory concerns, or supporting overall development to help counter the effects of a diagnosis or disability, to name a few. We support all areas of development and parent coaching to help your child reach their full potential.
